I had a schedule change to all four flights of a December international itinerary twice - was notified by email of the changes but all our seats remained (the email indicated my seats even though checking delta.com Itineraries showed "Not Assigned" for our seat assignments). Checked a few days later and the seats showed up again in the Itinerary on delta.com....
That's good to know. I usually call and have it done, and on one occasion had it done via email. Since I have three itineraries in flux right now, I'll wait a few days and see what happens. Thanks for letting me know of your experience.
