There is a transer checkpoint. Very scary. The customs officer takes you tickets and passports, goes away and seems to never return. Only after stopping two LH mechanics and getting the station manager cell phone who I called from my cell phone did they get back my ticket, bp and passport with seconds to spare before the flight left without me.

Just pay the couple of bucks required for the stamp and go out to the fr'ggn counter. Then you'll be fine.
