So, basically I have a Gulf Air flight coming up but do not want to "loose" the miles. I see they partner with Virgin, Jet Air and Oman Air.. seems kind of shameful if you ask me... however, I would like to credit the miles to something like *A or Skyteam... preferably *A.. is there some "magical" little FT way of doing this? I have one scenario which I dreamt up.. credit the miles to Virgin and hope that they merge with BD and then they will become *A...any logic to this madness?

Also, it will be a C class flight, but on their site I see their pdf about C class only has the angled lie flat bed, but I have heard they have fully lie flat on some reviews I read... is this reviewer ignorance?
