Just returned from my 2nd trip to Hawaii. Loved it. The big downside to Hawaii for me is that killer flight. It takes 8-14 hours for the commute from Cincinnati, Ohio. For this reason, we've been considering checking out some comparable places in the Caribbean.

I have never been to the Caribbean before. My husband is extremely active and loves to snorkel and bike ride and run. I prefer boating and beautiful views. We both prefer a smaller, intimate hotel rather than a mega-resort. And since we'll be bringing the kids along, I'd definitely want an island that is safe.

We have enough points to get a week for free at the highest level hotel/condo in the Marriott chain.

Does anyone have suggestions for a Marriott property in the Caribbean?
