G'Day All !!

Received a mailing a month or so ago for some DL promotion, in which a Plat would get to some higher level by reaching 100,000 MQM by the end of this year. Or 125k.

But I lost the piece of paper and can't recall (or find through search here or delta.com) what it was all about.

In general, is there any benefit to accruing extra MQMs after 75k? I see folks talking about this in the MR forum, but not why.

Finally, I made Plat for the first time this year... next year when MQM bag goes to zero, am I still Plat? Or Gold? I need to make 75k MQM again to requalify ;yes, but requalify for which year?
