I got lied to at the MUC Park Hilton recently. They threw me out of the Exec lounge as I had not been upgraded to the Exec level - only to their business floor.

After strong complaints from my side to the hotel manager they did state that there was in fact a room on the exec floor available (miracle ?). BUT to get access to the lounge I would have to move rooms. I only wanted a quick drink in the lounge..
What a load of nonsense!

This experience triggered that I would most likely bin my HH Diamond membership by not re-qualifying. I subsequently went off on a matress run at Satarwood to requalify for SPG Paltinum. There, I have never been refused lounge access.

I also have Sofitel Gold (useless), Priority Club Platinum (even more useless), Radisson Gold (so la la) and Kempinski Private Concierege (quite good actually). Hilton on the other hand has really p!ssed me off !
