On the trans-pacific flights there is self serve water and ice available, along with bottles of water. The seats on long haul flights are in the process of being upgraded, but the old style seats are hardly uncomfortable. Cabin temp is a matter of personal preference, it has never been an issue for me. This traveler finds the new FA uniforms to be very attractive. Service is much better than any US carrier flying across the Pacific or intra Asia.
IMHO, KE is a world class carrier. The interior of the planes are clean and most importanly, the flights arrive and depart on time and safely. Isn't that why we purchase a ticket, for safe, dependable transportation?
I concur 100%. My wife and I travel frequently in Y transpacific and have consistently chosen KE over any other carrier for comfort, convenience, and FF program flexibility. The issues with service that were mentioned were an anomaly, I suspect, b/c our flights were excellent.
