What the OP is trying to say is charge something small to your room, pay the bill with the exception of a soda, etc with your Amex. Then settle the remaining balance (soda) to the Visa card. You will pay for the small charge on the Visa but it will count towards the megbonus as long as the bill is settled to the Visa.
