President Gloria Arroyo and the First Gentleman did stop by in Singapore last Sunday after the APEC summit in Hanoi.

I certainly don't blame them for choosing this hotel for accommodation as noted by 747LWW, I mean, if this was the choice of accommodation for the American president, surely it can't be that bad ( I have not personally stayed on this property)

This kind of 'extravagance' could raise some eyebrows back in Manila, however .
