BA's making a de facto admission that sick people will try to get their sick jollies one way or another (c.f. LapLap's post) and that, while we can't trust that UMs have been properly trained by their own parents, this basically comes down to loco parentis. Ok.

Fair enough, at least to: 1. those who are indifferent to an UM sitting next to them (or not); 2. those who don't want an UM sitting next to them in the first place; and 3. men who don't feel this policy is gender-hostile, directed against them or would otherwise cause them inconvenience, discomfort or unease.
