I understand what you're both saying. As a 1K MM, I do step on a plane every now and then and of course, I've had my share of delays. I know it happens. I'm normally good-natured about it.

I got off-track and didn't mean to whine.

My real question is whether anyone knows if there is a policy and/or what it is for getting booked on another flight/airline in a mis-connect situation not due to weather delays.
