Finally resorted to the telephone and although I was dreading the experience I called the SQ support line for the website and received very good service. She did not seem too surprised that the confirmation response to my original order died in midstream, but all is well and tickets are booked. Now I only need to find the SQ office in Beijing in March. Thanks for the help.
