I was hoping someone would mention this facility. How about the Shangri-la Valley Wing were I was "camping out" last week as was G. Bush, his wife, and a 300 room USA group plus two days later, the President and First Lady of the Philippines. their staffs, security, press, etc....

Why is this? Repeat customers who can stay anywhere and they select the Valley Wing of the Shangri-la Singapore must mean something. Yes? IMHO, this selection is due in part to the secure location, the beautiful and hugh available facilities, the personnel, including folks like their great, GM and Area Mgr, Mr. Douin, Ms. C. Cheng, Mr. Glessell, the Valley Wing Mgr, V. Kaur, Ms Claudia Lee, Ms. Rhea Decolongon., Ms Kate Martin, Head Bulter, Mr. S. Louis, Butler Mr. Placidus S., Chef M. Mariapin, etc., and the general serenity of the site. Simply stated, in my view, this is one of the great hotels of the world which on any day you will recognize a Head of State as a fellow guest.
