Hi There,

I generally fly about 20 trips a year, but, I've been a fairly loyal WestJet passgener. As of late, I'm moved to Air Canada because Aeroplan and I had a question about Status Miles and Flight Segments. My questions are:

1) What is a segment? For example, say I fly YEG-YYZ-YEG, is this considered 3 segments?
2) Do you gain extra status miles by booking more indirect flights? ie. YEG-YYC-YYZ-YYC-YEG
3) Also, if I do fly a milk run, say YEG-YYC-YYZ-YYC-YEG does that count as 5 segments?
