I don't know what they were thinking when they set that pricing. I think it was like € 3.95 for 30 minutes, which I think is a real rip-off.
First of all, why not offer this for free to LH SEN? In many airline lounges around the world, this is free, and the cost to LH of offering this is not that high after the initial setup cost is covered - remember, I am talking about what LH does for its most loyal frequent fliers here, not about something for every passenger.
Personally, I would much prefer free wireless Internet access to some of the other stuff they have in lounges, like...Currywurst or so

Secondly, if they do want to make it a pay service, LH/Vodafone should offer some kind of a flat rate option which should not exceed € 20 per month or so.
Moreover, if you happen not to have a mobile phone with you (I admit this is rare, but once I did not have one with me), there is absolutely no way you can use the service. There should be an option to just use it by using your credit card.
End of my rant, feel free to bash me for being naive and wanting this for free
