Can anyone confirm or deny the above bolded question? My friend is trying to decide whether take a MR to requalify for 2P or get a 3P gift. I know 3Ps don't get 25% RDM bonus and e500's, but the ability to bring a companion would make a difference in the decision. TIA.

I gifted 3P to my GF last summer, and I can confirm that she's been able to bring a companion into E+ (adjacent seat of course...). We flew late August just after her status appeared on line, and we were able to get my daughter (based on my 1k status) and her son (based on her 3P status) into E+ with us. We also have a trip booked for this coming August, ticketed about a month ago, where once again, all 4 of us are reserved in E+.
