Thanks for the clarification -- I will have to keep this in mind. Sometimes it seems like we know the rules better than the reservations agents, but I always feel lousy asking for the supervisor. Now I know that it can hurt my chances, too.
I can't imagine that being a supervisor is a very fun job.
