This one has me thinking......
1) Fried Chicken the way my mom used to make it. Cooked in an old, dented cast iron skillet. Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, seasoned perfectly.
2) Boiled lobster with perfectly drawn butter. Delicious.
3) The duck dish from the Union Square Cafe in NYC. I bought the cookbook, attempted to make it at home 2x. It still doesn't taste the same.
4) A well made paella. Loaded with shrimp, mussels, fish...
5) A bowl of codfish bacala. Loaded with okra, tomatos, salt cod, onions...mmm
6) A perfectly broiled NY Strip Steak. Medium rare. Seasoned just right. No need for sauce...juicy perfection.
Wow, am I hungry now ! The turkey tomorrow has no chance !
