New Seat and Food Service
First, let me say that the new Business seat does look like a substantial improvement over the existing NTC. I really doubt that one would notice much of a difference between fully horizontal and 5 degrees. Further I think the footrest end piece will be a big improvement.
In the string above there was a comment on the food service in F and J. I agree that in F the food service is simply not what I would have expected from a French carrier. There are several things that mystifies me. Biggest gripe: the main courses are all cooked together and then the plate is brought out with the awful looking metal cover on it. I would have expected that each of the items on the main course would have been cooked separately and then plated in the galley, then nicely served. When things are all cooked together the quality is really diminished.
Second, the cart service--using galley carts-- is just awful looking. Only dessert is presented properly. Why not put the appetizers on a cart layed out as the desserts are?
For J I think that while galley plating of main courses might not be in the cards, appetizer presentation could be a lot better. Again they should take a page out of the dessert book. I also wish they would use proper wine glasses. Instead the wine glasses look like water glasses. That is just shocking for a French carrier.
