I have a MR coming up, LAX-SEA-LAX. The outbound was pulled earlier by 35 minutes, which was fine. It opened the door for me to catch an earlier return. I've never had a prob with changing returns on a same day trip in the past when the outbound was affected.

But today took 5 phone calls! Each agent wanted $100. They lectured me about how I could not change the segment that was not altered. I chose not to speak to a sup, as that would result in negative notes in the record.

But the 5th agent simply said, "Of course you don't need to be sitting in SEA extra time. We are making you get there earlier, so we have an obligation to get you home earlier, if you so choose."
