I've never had a problem with U.S. immigration, and I'm not exactly blond-haired and blue-eyed.

Canadian customs/immigration people I've dealt with have been far ruder.

Considering so many people are trying to get here illegally and for nefarious purposes, I don't mind it if the immigration people are a little intimidating.
