I was reading on the GTAA site that effective January 29, 2007, all flights for Air Canada and it's code share partners will depart from T1 using the new Pier as well as transborder. On January 30th, T2 will close and soon to be demonished. Anyone who has parked in the old terminal, their cars will be moved free of charge. Once they arrive back at YYZ, they need to go to Customer Service and they will tell you where your car is located (pretty good for such a bad airport as I have read on here).
Just to be clear, if you park at T2 on or before January 29th and return to T1 before February 15, your car will still be where you left it. They won't start moving cars until Feb 15th.
I would suggest parking at T1 and taking the landside shuttle to T2 for departure to save yourself much pain on the return.
