A reasonable point but to be fair BA are hardly going to take business decisions based upon a competitive threat from SQ in SIN, however good their product is. Even lumping together SQ, CX, TG and MH all of whom now have a better F offering than BA, wouldn't really be enough in itself to justify hard product investment.
Okay, I see your point now. There must come a point however when enough of BA's F market share on major routes (e.g. HKG, SIN etc) is threatened that BA have to act (by which time it may be too late) or withdraw. Obviously everybody here outside of BA is just speculating but does the key route for BA only consist of JFK ?!?
