To take your point though, pre-flight dining is like dining in any restaurant. If you want the experience of F inflight dining then it would be a shame to feel full when presented with a menu. Perhaps you should just arrive early, and snack on a bacon butty whilst waiting for your massage in the spa to come round.
Now that sounds like a plan.
