I am trying to book a flight from Singapore to Europe on Feb 10. But checking KVS, they are all coming back full. My preference is SQ334, to try out the new seat, then SQ346 to Zurich, as this may have the new seat, but it is still showing as 744.

I am trying to book as part of a RTW, and will be connecting from where ever I can get to to a flight to America so don't really care which flight I take, just want to earn 5 PPS points.

While I can understand why a couple of the flights don't have a D seat available. I can't understand why every single flight to Europe on this day can't get a seat booked. I have had a look at the seat maps and they are showing a lot of free seats.

eg. SQ334 to CDG only has 5 seats taken. So don't give me this because they are full or they can. As a lot of the C J are full as well.

I said SIN - Europe, as that is not my end point. I need to connect to a flight to America. (Namely Houston)

Some of my options I have considered are
SIN - FRA - IAH
SIN - MAN - ORD- IAH

But if I can't get out on the 10th to Europe, then I will need to be more creative. Currently the TA has me booked on the LH flight on the 10th at 23:59 to FRA as I can't get on SQ26

So my questions - why are flights to Europe so heavily booked on the 10th? Can anyone come up with a better idea on how not to loose out on the 5 PPS sector credits?

I am waitlisted for SQ334, is it likely to clear for a D class fare?
