Once you get to those forums you can adjust the dates in the forum to go back as far as you care to read.
Also, there is a search function in each forum. If you type in the term that you're looking for, in theory, you should get lots of responses.

Check out the various hotel forums. Loads of good info there too.

I would also suggest checking out www.tripadvisor.com You can type in what you're looking for and the appropriate board will appear.
