I use the Kensington that the OP linked to in post #3.

It has worked for me on every AA plane that has seat power.

I already had a Targus converter. But snce every powered machine I have (PC, PSP, etc) already delivers their own power cord, and I picked up the Kensington for $12 it was a no-brainer for me.

It's smaller and cheaper than buying another adapter, or trying to make sure I have all the right tips for the machines I might bring with me.

I have never noticed that it will loose power. Maybe it loses power and does an extra conversion, etc., but it has all been transparent to me.
