RTW's and reissues any experience?

I use RTW's a lot to travel on the Star Alliance.

As many know, when reissuing a ticket like this, your success rate depends on the ticketing agent sitting across from you.

Also, sometimes they come up with their own rules; sometimes they don't know the rules and sometimes they forget the rules.

So, I've had a bout 5 tickets over the last year and had them reissued a few times; Some of the reissues have been done improperly (not calculating the miles properly; to my advantage), etc.

Most recently, LH staff at JFK voided one of my tickets as I was trying to request an endorsement to UA. They also claimed that I was fraudulently making changes to the ticket.

I know by the fare rules I am supposed to fly coupons in order. If they are flown out of order and the agents accept them, am I liable for this, or should the agent be responsible for this?

Is this fraud, or a mistake by the airline.

Secondly, can they confiscate the remainder of a 20 segment RTW that has been reissued, because the previous ticket was flown out of order?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
