G20'itis hits the east coast flights. I'm pretty sure that Business class on my MEL-SYD was actually full of G20 celebs and their freeloading hangers on. SYD T3 was chock full of black Hire Cars and AFP personnel. Likewise MEL was being patrolled by AFP and their dogs. The 1500 and 1530 MEL-SYD were oversold and the (not so) nice guy at MEL gave a scornful response when I asked if there was a chance of an ODU with an expiring UC. At the end of the day: Qantas had a very profitable day.
