That will still have some loss, but I'll bet it won't be as lossy (I'll bet a slightly used copy of American Way...) It also looks like it has a compound plug for 12VDC lighter (which is what AA basically has) and an Empower tip as well, within that. The USB feature is useful, the surge suppression IMO would be too. And the cord means it will not interfere with one's seatmate's seat positioning. Of course, since it works for you on an AA 757, no problems there. Good find; thanks for sharing!

A DC-DC cable MIGHT be available from the OP's computer manufactuer or an aftermarket manufacturer as well, but I'd check the computer's input requirements / limitations very carefully - no surge suppression, etc. could possibly create a problem. (DO check your computer's power requirements, OP... some of the older / larger ones can be power hungry hogs. )
