How many WCs, PCs, ACs, RCCs, etc. have been shut down due to "minimal use" in the last few years? No other domestic airline gave free club membership to Plats, but their lounges didn't seem to be closing down due to underuse--in fact, the ones I'm familiar with are all moneymakers.
Might DL lose some Plats who stuck with DL solely because they were the only airline that offered free club access to Plats? Sure, but I don't think it will be a huge number or that the CRCs will get in financial trouble.
