Why not just sell us seats in the half that stops in Shinagawa? Or could a Monday afternoon NEX have sold out three days in advance?
We're in car 1.
Shinagawa NEX departures tend to sell out very early, probably because of the feed from Yokohama and points south. Just hop onto any car, stand by the door for the 8 min ride, and switch at Tokyo.
