I think you are going to see a security nightmare. When leaving Seattle a couple weeks ago [Monday AM, 11/6], the lines at the security entrance behind the United counter were amazing. Every other time I have flown I can just walk in to the elite entrance. This time there was a 20 minute line just to get to the ID checker in the elite line. This TSA guy kept asking if everyone was elite and saying "I have NEVER seen the elite line this long, what's going on?!". He went and checked into it and said that it was because of all the confusion about putting the liquids in the plastic baggies. I have been seeing this at every airport now... people just don't get the new rules and all the bag checks are slowing everything down.
Now back to the SEA security... when I got to the actual lanes, there was something like 3 out of 9 lines open and a collection of about 20(!) TSA agents in a circle with a manager or two having a leisurely meeting/talk... un-be-liev-able!! And the TSA agent was wondering why the line was so long... what an idiot...
So for Thanksgiving you will see a security meltdown, since once you add all these people who havent flown in a year and their toiletries it will be bad...
