Usually, I try to avoid the crowds by leaving a day earlier than most people. This year I'm going to fly on Turkey Day with IAD-ORD and coming back the following Monday.
I usually skip traveling for turkey day, but I needed 1006EQM to go with the Xmas flight to land 2P, so I'm doing a quasi-MR ORD-CLT Thu 1pm, then CLT-ORD Fri 10am. My mom will come to CLT - I'll pay dinner and hotel.
With Xmas, I'll also be 1-2 on my 1-2-3.
