when I was making my decision, the moistness of the towels was one main factor, but the fact that CO had hot nuts was what pushed me over...
You seem to be pretty balanced between the two. Pick a favorite vacation destination and see which airline flies there more directly? pick a favorite relative who you would give award tickets to and see which airline serves their nearest airport more conviently? flip a coin?
if all else fails, I vote AA since you will get it sooner and it will mean one less plat ahead of me on CO.
