Be sure to check the AA wiki for all the voucher details so you know what taxes should be taken out! Also, make a copy of the voucher before sending it just in case it gets lots in the mail. It could take 1-2 weeks, so mail it ASAP to ensure it applies before your flight. And make sure you check on aa.com to ensure it is ticketed and all a few days before your departure.
