I have flown both with the last couple of weeks.
17A on the 747, upstairs, mid cabin. Good seat location, slept well, very quiet. Both upstairs cabins were full.
7K on the 777, last row on the right. Despite my previous ramblings of being in the last row, I was very happy with the seat. Lots of privacy, no bathroom or galley noise. The 777 bathrooms have doors and loo seats that don't slam, have some sort of spring loading mechanism.
