The Blue Lagoon is great and all, but there's geothermally heated pools right in the city. We also went in March and it was a great way to start the day. You mostly see locals at the pool which adds a new dimension to the experience.
I second that. Don't miss the local pools. There are a few in Reykjavik and every small village will have one. The pools are cheaper than the Blue Lagoon and a great experience. Definately worth going - either in the morning to start the day or in the evening before going out. Will leave you refreshed and relaxed!
