There were three mega cramped 777s at LGW once upon a time with 4 rows of Club World Cradle seats and then millions of rows of WT at 3x4x3 instead of the usual 3x3x3.
There were so many complaints about these planes that Eddington agreed to uncramp them.
It went to 6 rows of Club and 3x3x3.
Then they were dusked into 3 class.
They were horrid (used to fly them in Y to TPA), very cramped and were the main reason I decamped to VS in my student days, as well as the ice cream and TVs on board VS.. And yes I mean TV
screens before Smirnoff gets going...
