I am not sure when you last visited, or if you flew from the North Terminal or el cheapo from the South Terminal.
The North Terminal into and out of which both DL and BA fly is a great terminal, one of the best to fly through in the world IMHO, compact, clean, light and airy, with great shops and super view of he planes and runway. PLus with the new passenger bridge, it has much more of an architectural presence than many modern airports.
