I tend to wear nothing or just a sheer pink, although I confess that when the trend went around the first time, I did wear Revlon's Marooned (a super deep dark maroon/wine color). I always got a lot of compliments. I think it's because I have EXTREMELY pale skin. The dark polish really gave my hands a nice porcelain look. I think you do have to be rather pale to pull it off well, and I'm not sure I'd go to black (I don't read fashion magazines, so I can't picture it, but it sounds too goth for me).

Maybe I'll hit the drugstore on the way home and see what they've got...I'm intrigued!
