Some more facts that will add to the story:
--Up until recently, I was renting from them weekly (AA 25th Ann. promo), so they know me by name.
--The car was pulled up and ready to go, sans keys, outside the Preferred booth. In fact, the genuises, when they left, forgot to lock the doors to that car and that car only. It was a DTS.
--Chairman's Desk has forwarded my complaint to the district and (I think) HQ. They actually got LAX to agree to drive a car down to me in the middle of the night, or pay for a taxi for me to go up there, but I needed sleep, so arranged to have SNA deliver my car first thing in the morning.
--After calling me just before delivery, confirming that I needed an Authorization for an Additional Driver form (the whole point of going to SNA myself last night), they showed up without the form
Seriously, heads are going to roll on this one.
