I have an award ticket with a stopover along my routing. I am wanting to make an additional connection with an overnight. Here's the quesiton:

My inbound arrives at 2pm. The outbound leaves at 2pm the following day, thus a 24 hour connection. For this to be a true connection and not a stopover, does the outbound need to leave at 1:59, or is 2pm still ok?
