Last week they refused to fly me from SOF to JFK via PRG. I had a Business Class e-ticket bought on Expedia. They said it was a paper ticket and I must have lost the paper. I had to buy another ticket at the airport else I would have missed the flight. They were most rude.

I have no idea what's going to happen on this one!!
Being of Czech descent, I follow OK on this forum, even though I do not fly with them any more. Air Canada fills my needs so much better.

Recently, there has been quite a bit of coverage in Czech media regarding OK, most of the stuff related to their huge operating losses, and the effectiveness of the new management team. It appears to me that very few of the top guys have airline experience. I am not talking "technical", I am talking "commercial" and "financial".

They seem to be doing things helter-skelter, cut here, cut there and that allienated lost of their FF passengers. They are grossly overstaffed at home and abroad. I know a little bit about them in YUL, and it is a joke.

I am sorry about your negative experience and extra expenditure. About them being rude, perhaps part of it was the language issue. many of them know limited English and then get nervous. I speak Czech and it help me a lot while visiting and dealing with similar situations.
