Last week I made a hold-reservation on aa.com but had AA Dublin making a correction in the routing. After the agent processed it, it showed "Ticketed" even if the tix was not issued yet.

I havent asked but might it be possible that they avoid by this way that we skip the Service Fee by calling the line and purchase later on aa.com ?
