Is anyone aware that if your executive account is registered in Europe, and you want to MFU a flight, they will charge you the full mileage for both ways, even if only one way is available for MFU!
I just tried to MFU for a flight out of TLV, and I was told they would charge me mileage for a return MFU, even though I will only get an upgraded on one leg of the journey.
I tried arguing with them telling them I did this plenty of times when registered in the UK, and only ever charged for the part of the journey that was available for MFU, but they said their rules are different.
Can anyone confirm this is indeed the case?
