So, I have a reservation of a luxury car for 5 days, starting Wednesday night, 11/16 at 11pm. SNA closes at 11:30pm.
I arrive at 11:25pm, and the Preferred desk is closed. Walk up to the airport counter, and it's all closed too. I run into a porter, and he has no keys.
When I see a listed closing time, I expect someone to be there until the actual closing time. I saw the happy Hertz people stay there until 11:40pm. What the hell?!
Here's the kicker.... I'm Chairman's Club, so they are royally pissing off one of their so-called better customers. I call the Chairman's Desk and they are equally disappointed. I'm waiting for a call back to see what they can do, but I needed this car for a road trip starting early tomorrow morning.
