Ticketed doesn't mean ticketed-at least according to Aadvantage in Dublin.
I have a similar situation in that I booked tickets using vouchers. As soon as the voucher numbers were entered in the booking the reservation showed on aa.com as ticketed although it physically isn't until the vouchers have arrived and are applied. I've since made major changes to the booking (restricted fare) and was told this is fine as ticket is not issued until voucher has arrived and is applied. If the voucher is a DI the difference should be refunded on another voucher to you.
I would call AA and ask them to change the voucher info. It shouldn't be a problem.
