So I saw a cheap fare the other day and wanted to use my voucher to purchase the ticket. The problem was that I didn't have my voucher with me and I do not return home until this weekend. AA wanted to know the value on the voucher and the date of issuance. I had to estimate both bits of info, but the ticket now shows up as ticketed. I just need to send in the voucher when I get home, but the value will cover more than the cost of the ticket. Any have experience with this type of situation?
Are you sure it doesn't say "purchased"?
I thought ticketed meant that a ticket was issued.
