One4 Ticketing Question
Hi all,
I recently called AA in the UK to purchase my ONE4 leaving out of LHR (i am in the US and leaving from UK to get cheaper ONE tick, save over $1000 usd). The customer service rep accepted my ONE4 and took all my credit card info etc. The AA cust rep at the time said that because i was calling in the UK that they would accept this booking and my USA credit card. When i log onto my account on AA it says my "Status: Ticketed."
Then today i got a call from the UK asking where to send my tickets because they can't send them as e-tickets. I call them back and a new cust rep then said AA (in the UK) would have to forward my itinerary to the USA AA to mail the tickets.
I'm kind of worried now that the USA AA will say that i have to pay the US fare? Or does this "Status: Ticketed" mean my reservation is complete and AA in the UK has finalized my ONE4? I also have not been charged yet on my credit card, i assume AA won't charge my cc until they send ticks out.
Thanks for any advice i should be expecting from AA. AA in the USA does not provide any help on how to book these lower fares in other countries.
